We moved into a new build house a few weeks ago and shopped around for window treatments. We knew we wanted Norman shutters as we had an excellent experience with them in another home. After calling around we found 2 companies in our area who could accommodate us. They each came to our home within a few days. We requested they bring samples as we wanted to be sure the product hadn’t changed over the few years since we last purchased them. Brad, owner of Made in the Shade, arrived with samples and a breadth of knowledge. He showed us configurations we hadn’t thought about which made more sense for this style house. He explained that as owner he would be with us every step of the way from measuring through installation of the shutters. No extra appointments dealing with middlemen. Today was the day and we couldn’t be happier! Brad and his team did an OUTSTANDING job installing our new shutters! They were on time, were respectful of our home by wearing shoe covers, were polite and worked diligently and efficiently. They estimated 4 hours to install 24 shutters and they were done in that time frame! Why did Made in the Shade win the job? Brad knows his products, he came to the initial meeting prepared and he was with us every step of the way! Excellent job. Very easy to work with Jeremy, who handled the entire process from first meeting, measuring and ordering clear vinyl blinds shades for our patio.
