We moved into a new build house a few weeks ago and shopped around for window treatments. We knew we wanted Norman shutters as we had an excellent experience with them in another home. After calling around we found 2 companies in our area who could accommodate us. They each came to our home within a few days. We requested they bring samples as we wanted to be sure the product hadn’t changed over the few years since we last purchased them. Brad, owner of Made in the Shade, arrived with samples and a breadth of knowledge. He showed us configurations we hadn’t thought about which made more sense for this style house. He explained that as owner he would be with us every step of the way from measuring through installation of the shutters. No extra appointments dealing with middlemen. Today was the day and we couldn’t be happier! Brad and his team did an OUTSTANDING job installing our new shutters! They were on time, were respectful of our home by wearing shoe covers, were polite and worked diligently and efficiently. They estimated 4 hours to install 24 shutters and they were done in that time frame! Why did Made in the Shade win the job? Brad answered the call and a few days, not weeks, he was here with samples in hand and a wealth of information about the product and installation. MITS was our first estimate and we were sold! We never take the first but Brad was wonderful!! He was polite and not pushy, a huge selling point for us. He was very knowledgeable, and explained down to the smallest detail. Extremely patient, as I changed my mind about the material a few times🤪 He set up an install date for about four weeks and delivered on the dot!
